€38,00

Meet the season through the meal in front of you.

A 20.2 cm, 1.1 litre bowl for leaves, cooked vegetables and pulses. The body gathers loose ingredients; the opening allows gentle tossing and serving, with space left below the rim.

The Yinshan Zhengyao relates food to the seasons, with attention to cold, heat and dryness. OrienX brings this seasonal care to a familiar European table: fresh leaves or warm cooked vegetables, with ingredients and preparation changing as the weather does. Rosée gives those changing meals a bowl to use throughout the year.

Food traditions and this piece

Seasonal care: attending to cold, heat and dryness

In Sishi Suoyi, the Yinshan Zhengyao understands the body within the changing seasons. Cold, heat and dryness inform its approach to food and care. The traditional intention is to bring eating into accord with the conditions around us, attending to how the body receives a meal. OrienX keeps this attention to the moment, then develops its own plant-based preparations with available vegetables and familiar European ways of cooking.

As the season changes, the same bowl returns

For a warm dish, bring together cooked beetroot, carrots and white beans. For something fresh, choose tomatoes, cucumber, cooked pulses and herbs. Wholegrain bread or a grain-based main can accompany the dish. Rosée's medium-sized body gathers leaves and cooked vegetables; its opening suits gentle mixing and sharing, while sand beige sets off seasonal colours. Its value lies in accommodating these changes repeatedly: a familiar piece that lets seasonal care become a daily choice, with no need for a different vessel for every recipe.

A practice to try

Begin with the vegetables and how to prepare them

For a fresh salad, clean and chop cucumber, pepper and tomato suitable for eating raw. For something warm, choose cooked broccoli, cauliflower or other vegetables. Pour nous deux

On est deux à la maison, pour une salade à côté du repas c’est pile ce qu’il nous faut. Le grand saladier reste au placard.
