Gathering · Large Shallow Bowl

€52,00

Share the food's own flavours, with room for individual taste.

A 28.5 cm, 1.8 litre low bowl for roasted vegetables, cooked beans and dishes to share with little liquid. The broad surface can be reached from several sides; the curved body gathers a little juice.

The Laolao Hengyan connects care through food with moderation in flavour and restrained salting that preserves an ingredient's own taste. Tablée keeps dressing alongside, so everyone can taste and then adjust: a nourishing intention made into a plant-based meal to enjoy with family or friends.

Share a dish and discover its separate flavours

Matte grey beige keeps the meal in the foreground. Fine grain appears up close without added decoration around the food.

Food traditions and this piece

Why restraint in seasoning belongs to a tradition of care

In its chapter on food, the Laolao Hengyan advises against an excessive preference for one flavour and recommends adding little salt so the food's own taste remains. Its traditional intention is to care for the body and its reception of food, avoiding a dominant taste or heavy seasoning. Simplicity can still hold an ingredient's sweetness, aroma and depth. OrienX develops this idea into a carefully cooked shared dish, with room for each person to season it.

A shared plant-based dish, room for different tastes

Roast squash and carrots, prepare white beans and spread them in the bowl. Keep lemon, herbs and dressing alongside, with wholegrain bread or grains as an accompaniment. Each person can try the vegetables and beans before adding what they want. Tablée's broad surface makes larger pieces visible and easy to take separately; grey beige leaves attention on the meal. Choose it to bring different tastes around one preparation. Paired with Pousse for individual servings, that freedom to combine continues on each person's plate.

Il faut lui faire une place

Il prend de la place sur la table ! Mais avec les légumes rôtis étalés dedans, j’aime beaucoup. On le pose au milieu et chacun se sert. Pour manger seul, je ne le sortirais pas.
