Why it works

Designed for water, tea and small table drinks, this piece first aims to make the everyday gesture simple and comfortable. The handleless form can be held in one or two hands, keeping the gesture close to the drink. A softened rim makes each sip more comfortable, while the reinforced foot steadies the piece and makes setting it down feel less fragile. It therefore fits naturally into daily use without asking for a special way of serving or holding it.

Material & making

Porcelain with a low-sheen finish intended for everyday use. Firing can create subtle differences in tone or surface from one piece to another.

OrienX inspiration

OrienX inspiration — Without a handle, the hand returns directly to the vessel. We see a gesture of closeness: sensing the temperature, adjusting the grip and taking a moment before drinking. This echo of the Eastern table remains OrienX’s contemporary, interpretive reading.

Handmade piece

Small differences in tone, speckling or profile are part of the glaze character and do not affect everyday use.
