Terms of service

1. Seller and scope

OrienX is operated by 維睿昂國際有限公司, a limited company incorporated in Hong Kong. Email: contact@orienx.store; address: Room A1, 11/F, 36 Man Yue Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR. These terms apply to consumer orders together with the refund, shipping and privacy policies.

2. Goods and handmade characteristics

We aim to describe dimensions, capacity, material and colour accurately. Forming, glazing and firing create reasonable variation in tone, speckling, glaze movement and small dimensions. Natural variation matching the description and not affecting safety or normal use is not a defect. Cracks, sharp chips, instability or issues materially affecting food contact or use are not acceptable handmade variation.

3. Prices, taxes and import charges

Amounts are displayed in the market currency before payment. Prices in the five active markets are configured to include applicable taxes and duties. OrienX bears applicable import taxes, customs duties and routine clearance fees, so customers should not pay beyond the checkout total. If customs or a carrier requests payment, contact contact@orienx.store. If immediate payment is necessary to prevent a return, keep the official receipt; OrienX will reimburse verified applicable import charges.

4. Orders, payment and contract

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when OrienX sends confirmation and payment succeeds. We may reject or cancel for a stock error, obvious pricing error, unavailable delivery or reasonable fraud concern and promptly refund amounts collected. Shopify and the relevant payment provider process payment; OrienX does not store full card details.

5. Delivery and risk

Processing, charges and estimates are in the shipping policy. For consumer orders, OrienX bears risk until physical delivery to the consumer or designated recipient as required by law, except where the consumer independently chooses a carrier not offered by OrienX.

6. Returns, conformity and statutory guarantee

Consumers may use the 14-day return and withdrawal procedure. OrienX provides an appropriate remedy for incorrect, damaged, defective or materially misdescribed goods. Where EU law applies, consumers benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity; the seller is generally responsible for non-conformity appearing within two years after delivery, subject to mandatory national rules.

7. Safe use

Follow each product and care page for microwave, dishwasher, oven, temperature-shock and food-contact instructions. If not expressly stated, do not use over direct flame, on a hob or grill, in a freezer or oven. Stop use if a through-crack, sharp chip or serious food-contact-surface damage appears.

8. Intellectual property and liability

The OrienX name, text, photography, design and original content are protected. To the extent permitted by law, OrienX is not liable for loss caused by ignoring clear instructions, unforeseeable indirect loss or events beyond reasonable control. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, product safety or mandatory consumer rights.

9. Personal information

See the privacy policy. Information needed to fulfil an order may be provided to Shopify, payment providers, warehouses, carriers and competent authorities where required by law.

10. Disputes, law and updates

For a complaint, contact our customer service at contact@orienx.store with your order number. We will work with you towards an amicable solution. This process does not limit your statutory rights or your right to bring a claim before a competent court. The contract is in principle governed by Hong Kong law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. The version published when the order is placed applies to that order; changes apply to future orders.
