Why it works

Designed for cereal, soup, rice and one-bowl meals, the Ash straight-sided bowl combines near-vertical walls with a round opening. Its 600 ml capacity and 152 mm diameter provide useful volume in an individual format. The blue-grey glaze and brown speckles give the surface a quiet presence, while the stable foot supports the journey from kitchen to table.

Material & making

Color-glazed ceramic with a surface intended for everyday use. Firing can create subtle differences in glaze tone or surface from one piece to another.

OrienX inspiration

OrienX inspiration — Straight walls and a round opening create a balance between structure and softness. We see this as a contemporary expression of proportion in everyday objects: a clear form, useful volume and a surface that keeps food in focus. This is a present-day compositional intention, not a historical attribution.

Handmade piece

Small differences in tone, speckling or profile are part of the glaze character and do not affect everyday use.
