Why it works

Designed for pasta, salads and dishes to share, this piece first aims to make the everyday gesture simple and comfortable. The dense body and continuous glaze create a surface that is straightforward to clean. The oval curve makes room for pasta, salads and sauced dishes without taking excessive width on the table; a rounded rim and stable foot make the trip from kitchen to table easier. It therefore fits naturally into daily use without asking for a special way of serving or holding it.

Material & making

Color-glazed ceramic with a surface intended for everyday use. Firing can create subtle differences in glaze tone or surface from one piece to another.

OrienX inspiration

OrienX inspiration — The oval curve introduces a gentle movement among the round forms of the table. We connect it with an Eastern idea of flow and balance: letting the eye travel without interrupting use. This is a present-day compositional intention, not a historical attribution.

Handmade piece

Small differences in tone, speckling or profile are part of the glaze character and do not affect everyday use.
